Your Responsibility
You will deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, ensuring timely, safe, and courteous service across all assigned routes.
You will operate a 2½-ton bulk tank truck and follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations, using proper loading and unloading techniques including use of chock blocks and safe hose handling.
You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on customer propane tanks, regulators, and service lines, as well as maintain company vehicles, grounds, and equipment.
You will handle customer payments in the field, reconcile tickets, prepare daily truck reports, and maintain route books with clear directions and service records.
You will serve as a frontline ambassador for the company—answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting propane products and services with professionalism.
You will be available for after-hours and emergency duty as needed, keeping a home phone or cell in service to ensure coverage.
Job requirements
What are we looking for
You have a valid Class B CDL with current hazardous materials, air brake, and tank endorsements, along with a valid DOT medical card.
You are physically capable of climbing, lifting heavy hoses and tanks, digging trenches, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
You bring mechanical aptitude and are comfortable using hand tools, performing basic repairs, and safely operating heavy vehicles and equipment.
You possess strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clearly and communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
You are customer-service driven, safety-minded, and take pride in maintaining a professional appearance and well-kept vehicle.
You are familiar with the geography of our service area and committed to timely, reliable deliveries—even during peak seasons or inclement weather.
