Sr. Automation Engineer – Raleigh NC

A growing technical services company is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support various industrial automation manufacturing facility projects. This company specializes in industrial control and data systems, delivering innovative solutions to solve challenging automation problems while building meaningful, long-term partnerships with its clients.

What makes a good candidate:

  • Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing systems in industrial facilities

  • Knowledge of PLC programming, HMI design, and industrial networks

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and general engineering documents/drawings

  • Familiarity with motion control systems and electrical control panel design

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, or related field), or technical associate degree with equivalent experience

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Commitment to completing projects on time and within budget

  • Permanent right to work in the US
